I assumed you were talking about French films . French/English romance films would be good .

Movies with a strong maths theme would be good.
Additionally, if the french-being-good-at-romance stereotype is even partially true then a love story would be good . As long as there were English subtitles as by french is poor.

I was researching films to watch as I'll have more time after my Alevel exams are finished and the English adaptation of that film was listed as good!
