hey, im Gavin, i've accepted my place on the MRes Cancer Biology course at imperial too! You living in london? i can't work out which would be better living there or commuting in from my home town 30 miles north of the city.

I haven't heard from Imperial myself, so I have no idea I'm afraid! Best bet is to contact the uni's in question; they are likely to be more helpful than you think!

I'm a masters student, not phd..but i had an offer from kings which wanted a deposit..but I didn't pay it. It depends on the course/department...go to the website and see if they require deposits. If you get an offer with a deposit attached to it, contact the other uni's such as Cam., explain the situation and maybe they will process your application quicker. Apart from that there isn't much else you can do.
