What socialism strands do we need to know? do we need to know all of marxism as described in the Heywood book?
yomi91
oh yh thats what im usin or do you think the revision guide revision notes political ideologies by daniel woodley would be enough

Yomi (its David from ur class lol) i HATE that book, its not detailed enough, so in the 45 mark questions its gna be hard to write loads.
Ah I hate the politics book. My teacher makes perfect notes that if you learn and applied them properly you could get 100% in every exam. They are literally AMAZING. Love my politics teacher, he makes it so easy as there is about 20 pages on each ideology to learn and thats it, and someone in my group has 300/300 UMS so far by learning these notes.

Some more questions... not all... I will put some more up later.

After seeing those feminism questions im pretty sure i could answer all of them pretty well if they came up in the exam  They're all basically on the same things anyway. Thanks so much rainbowworld
How long does everyone's 15 markers tend to be? Because I'm answering a few now, and even when I include all the information, some of them tend to be less than a page long. Am I doing something wrong?
Aparently 250-300 words. I think about a page is good though. You could proberly get away with 3/4 of a page if it was really good, but work on detail so you write a whole page. Also it depends on the size of your writting - if it is very small I expect 3/4 of a page is fine.
Oh phew, the one I was worried about was 300 words. It just looked so short typed up!

Given how close the exam is I thought this topic would be more active! goddamn politicsssssssssss
yeah, they always look short typed up. I thought ones I tuped up were too short but met teacher marked them as A's. I don't think you need to write too much. You only have 15mins to write it, minus planning time.
how long do peoples 45 markers tend to be?

yo people i just sorted all of the previous liberalism questions that were posted earlier into groups because a lot of them are essentially asking the same or very similar questions and this helped me quite a lot because it makes the task of revising them a bit easier:

implications of each for the state. (Jun 02)

do you mean for the 'discuss' part?

i'd imagine youd need to agree with the liberal, socialist + radical bit, and talk about tensions with fem + con. then perhaps qualify the point and argue how some conservatives could be classified as feminists (on the basis of pragmatism / neoliberal strand), and how some of liberal / socialist theory is incompatible with feminism if you had the time, e.g. priority of class war over sex war (orthodox marxist) or how feminism is inherently a form of identity politics and liberalism is concerned with the individual
