A few people have been asking for photos and information about the campus. Mostly what it looks like. So i thought i would make this thread to contain any photos or links to blogs, facebook pages etc that have photos of the campus.
While this thread is mostly made up of photos uploaded on this thread. The following 4 links also contain very good photos of the Campus and surrounding area. The Facebook Page has images of every type of accommodation.
Cartmel Room(Coutesy of RabbitCFH). all cartmel, lonsdale and pendle supier ensuite rooms look like this and most other supier ensuite and standard ensuite look very similar:

Most of the article shows the uni's 60s architecture - not very representative of the modern, diverse architecture on campus and probably quite off-putting to potential students who inevitably check the article out before applying.

yea, thats a good idea. theres a far off view of the infolab too but you cant reall see it. should go take pictures of the that infolab and of the iss building. show the modern side to campus.
The superior standard room has a weird shape about it imo. I love the fact their is an open plan kitchen/dining area and a lounge! Why couldn't all of the flats have lounges?
tbf, it's County Superior Standard, so about £10 per week more than County Standard
But yeah it does look nice. I like the idea of a larger communal room and a bigger room, but I also love my ensuite too much
County doesn't have normal standard, we only have this type of standard. I think pendle, bowland and grizedale have the cheaper standard.
Yeah well I like it, it's very like the townhouses to be honest but it's all on one floor, it's a bit cheaper per week and we have cleaners. Oh and we pay rent for 40 weeks and I think the townhouses are 46? But it's slightly less bathroom ratio I think, 1 per 2/3 people, and the townhouse communal area is bigger, so it's horses for courses really.
