What can I do with a PPE degree?

Hi!

I would just like to know, what possible career paths I can take, with a PPE degree.

Thank you!

Philosopher, Politician, Economist.
Seriously though, pretty much all the top dogs in Parliament did PPE (at Oxford). You could also go into finance (e.g. investment banking, accountancy).

Yeah, I guess...

But I mean, I really want to help developing countries and to make a difference. And the thing you said about 'all the top dogs in Parliament did PPE', just makes me want to go into the politics sector, but to change and help the systems of developing countries. I don't know whether PPE will help me, and if so, how will I be able to use that? or what career path can I take? I know this sounds way over my head, but it's what I think I feel passionate about.

Thanks

Well, to work at a serious level at any development related organisation (UN, IMF, World Bank, UNICEF and other charities) you'd need at least a Masters or PhD in something related to development e.g. Economics, Globalisation, International Relations etc. I'm pretty sure PPE would be a great choice to lead into these postgrad areas.

Thanks!

Do you know if there are any other jobs that would directly help people from developing countries??

Absolutely. International development I think would be perfect for what you're looking for. Sure some of the London Uni's do a masters in this. Though heading to the U.S. for the post grad may be the best option for opportunities.
dentistry.

come on..you can do pretty much any non-specialist job.
