Applying for Sept 2012. It's my "local" uni so I might commute rather than live in halls, though haven't really decided. Going to the nursing open event in Nov though

It's the uni closest to me and I'll be applying to go there to for law.

I went to the open event last weekend and it looked really nice (popular too, busiest one I've seen). But the way the accom' was so much better swung it for me. Where abouts do you live?
I'm applying there for Maths .
It looks like a really nice uni because I went there last week as well.

I'm in Cheshunt, 15 miles down the M25 so not a huge journey, but I sort of like the idea of living in halls. However with the expense I don't know if I will or not. :hmmmm:

If I dont get into University of Kent then I might be going to Hertfordshire.

The halls were all pretty nice, the best by far were Roberts way (cheap, quiet) or Telford court (Flats, more social + spacious). Definitely worth it for me, but i'm a very social person.

I'll be applying but already have my A level grades, however they just increased the entry requirements by 40 UCAS points for Education Studies but are happy to acccept all qualifications from the UCAS tariff and those from "Non traditional routes". Does anyone know if this means that they will accept my grade B in AS general studies? I'm only 20 points off without it!

Ring or email their admissions dept and ask  They've been pretty helpful when I've contacted them

Don't rely on the TSR guide on here! It's extremely outdated! I have tried to update bits but it's a lot of work ^^

If anything is unclear or if you have got any questions regarding the university PM me or leave me a message!
As it's my local uni, it's on my application too, so there's a fair chance I could go, especially if I decide against staying at a university.

If I go it'll be journalism and human geography mixed

just note that herts is not specialised in journalism! they only offer a 2 module course which you can do as a minor.
