How sensitive are the Fire Alarms at Stafford Court?

Just wondering, any stories of them being set off by deodorant cans or ahem...a toastie maker?
They're pretty standard, deodorant will be fine. Candles are fine. The ones in the kitchen only go off to heat, you can play cigarettes into them, so burn your food all you want.

Hi there, I've lived and worked in Stafford Court over 2 years, so got a good experience of this.

Kitchen detectors react to heat. All other detectors react to smoke and are reasonably sensitive. Spray deodorant carefully near your open window and you should be good in small doses. Toastie makers won't set the alarms off, but ironing under a smoke detector will.

Hope that helps.
