Not heard anything from Birmingham yet but have Interviews at Cumbria and Salford. Did you get your Birmingham invitation via UCAS Track or snail mail? Merry Xmas everyone!

I got it by direct email from the admissions office

Woah, I just realised my spelling was rubbish haha it's bcos I'm using my iPod :')
Anyway nope I've never been o that uni before! I hope it nice  if I dont like ot i don't think I'll be bothered if the interview sucked. I think I'm putting Liverpool and City as my top 2
Wow, Ireland!? That's a bit of a trek!

Also, yesssss this is my first interview! In the letters I got they, sent a few sample questions and answers similar to ones we might get in the test... It wasn't too bad at all. Just spelling questions and fill-in-the-gaps with the correctly spelled word.
Is it your first interview? And where else
Have you applied? (:
I sent off my application on December the 6th and I have not heard anything back yet. I hate having to wait. :frown:
Anyone else in the same situation?

ah thats good to settle your nerves for the first interview  it's my first too :/ spelling test hmm, as long as we don't have to write an essay i suppose.
My letter still hasn't arrived which is driving me mad here..

I have applied to canterbury, qMe, and robert gordon as well, im kind of thinking i wouldn't mind going to any of them. Where else have you applied to?

Yeah, Teesside is one of my top choices. Interview is on the 18th Jan. I think with my interview pack it said something like they'll be interviewing up until March so will probably have to wait a while to hear back. Good luck!

Hi there, unfortunately I need to send my UCAS application late and I was wandering if anyone can help me?

I am quite happy with my personal statement so far, but I was wandering if there is a good way of explaining why Radiography and not Nursing???

I ask because years ago I got into Nursing and didnt accept it as had to look after my Grandmother (I then realised that nursing was not for me).

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could word this?
I don't want to be too emotionally involved with the same patients day in and day out but I dont want it to seam that I can not handle difficult situations etc.

Long shot..... but any help is greatly appreciated x

You could say about the greater opportunities for specialisation and progression. The growth of the area is attractive. Wanting a more scientific and technical career whilst still putting patient care at the forefront of what your doing. The fulfilment you get out of seeing many many patients and the individual attention to there needs.

I am just brain storming. I am sure there is many more. Just quote me if you want me to elaborate on any of them

Thank you Jordan, I really appreciate you helping me x
I think something along the lines of what you said above is great- can you elaborate at all?

Is the reason you need to say why radiography over nursing because your applying to the university for radiography when you previously turned them down for nursing?
