Damn you should check out the OCR textbook, it's really good. Don't know if it would be worth buying it though; depends on the difference in specification. What is Unit 1 about?

I'm doing unit 3 first It's about volcano, eq, mass movement hazards/monitoring/prediction, mining, waste disposal, water supply, and engineering geology.

Sounds like you're doing some of the A2 Unit 4 mixed in with a little bit of Unit 1. May be worth getting then if you have found the bits useful from the OCR textbook but then again you plan on dropping it at the end of this year don't you?
