The Legacy of Runescape

Most of us will have heard of this game, alot of us will have heard about it or played it during our Childhood..

I thought I'd post some old pictures which bring back alot of memories, feel free to do the same or discuss this game.

Me getting 99 fletching

Me getting 98 Runecrafting

91 Runecrafting which was a big milestone!

Exposing one of the most famous players

Something an old friend made for me.. not seen her for 3 years!

Lmao.. A Runescape wedding..

Old Picture

When I was a noob

It's crazy how on some of these pictures I still recognise people, and without seeing their name and typing I know who they are!

Ah, good memories, still play it now and then but it's kinda boring when just about all of your friends have quit. :s-smilie:

Worst thing that ever happened to me was.. getting kicked out of a Castle Wars clan "Kingdad 38" for no reason!! I was a good General! :-(

It was decent until long before then

haha there's already a runescape thread in here somewhere. But hey that's nice, I never understood rs weddings.

I don't play anymore because I don't have the time with A-levels, and because the free game is so crap compared to the members game, I feel so let down by Jagex because of how commercialised RS has become. I mean how can they make something as traditional as the holiday event half P2P. That's unbelievable. The free game is awful and I don't have the time to play my money's worth of the members game because of studies. It's all a large pile of bad things that just put me right off playing.

lots of happy memories though eh?
So I just realized all of my Runescape screenshots are on my old computer! So long memories of 99 Fletching :ashamed2:

I remember that game :')

Hours grinding out that Rune Ore and those Giant Bones to get the money for things.

And back in the day when a party hat was 27 Mil  I was firmly put in my place about how much those things are worth a couple of months back. But then, I did stop playing about 4 years ago

I go on Funorb, another site from Jagex to talk to the friends that still play but I won't play the game because I'd rather remember it for how it was.. lmao
Hear hear, many happy hours playing that game, also some tragic one's when times got tough. Sadly my world has moved on, I'd like to remember it for how it was but it just isn't the same now. I quit two years ago having played for four.

I know funorb. I just avoid jagex altogether lol, I tried that arcane game for a lil while, but it got boring tbh.
I never got level 99 on anything :frown:, too busy castle warring. Seriously, that game was ****ing epic, almost makes me want to go back and renew my membership just for that.

The armies of gielinor game's not bad, kinda like a game of Age of Empires but with clearer graphics. At least that's what it reminds me of.

imo the problem with funorb is it's not really widely played or even widely know so in a lot of the games which are multiplayer it can be hard to find games against people who don't have insane boosts from being a member.

I agree, Arcanists has around maybe 600 players left though

This game pretty much killed my real-world life for a few years... but I still miss it sometimes

Same here, I still try to balance out the Pros & Cons of wether it did my life good or bad!

I quit this game like two years ago :-)

yet looking at the Screenshots, you've played with the newer graphical updates, less than 2 years ago.
