Strictly not appropriate but I loved Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. But this sort of film persists in scenes with people getting shot at underwater. You can't get shot under water. You can't shoot through water. Not more than about 2 metres, and that's forcing it. In the physical universe we occupy, it cannot be done.
I's a good film nonetheless but some of the science is cringe-worthy, I heard that NASA actually uses it on their staff to see whether if they could find all the bad science.
The Superman film where he had to choose which missile to stop because he wasn't fast enough to stop both of them, when he is a being that can travel at about the speed of light and would've been able to easily stop them both in under a second. So unrealistic :fuhrer:
Here is a guy with whom you can discuss about it
@james22: Of cause, since it is by no means based on anything that ever happened ... Also, the ship's constructors never claimed it unsinkable (although it was really quite safe, there's just nothing to deal with an iceberg slicing up the hull at several dozen metres), it was attributed to the ship by the press.
For me, it is basically almost everything about ancient Rome. When will people EVER understand that no Roman soldier wore an armor made of leather?!?!?
Oh, I forgot to add Asterix and Obelix. Quite realistic overall, but I always doubted that crude oil is one ingredient in the magic elixir, it would taste aweful and I never saw anyone complaining about the taste!
In clownfish when the female dies the male turns into a female - Nemo's dad should have turned into a woman when his mum died.
That would have made the film so much better!!
Hmm. As much as I love Mulan (and I do), the avalanche scene annoys the hell out of me. A horse cannot ride on top of an avalanche like that! And how the cricket is indestructible. And in Tangled, how her hair never actually gets tangled despite her dragging it along the floor all the time! But it's disney, so I'm willing to set my annoyance aside while I'm actually watching the films.
OK I absolutely LOVE Jurassic Park, one of my favourite franchises. But the Velociraptors in that weren't Velociraptors at all, they were something else (possibly Deinonychus). Didn't piss me off, just thought I'd mention it.
