A slightly different take on the PWYW bundle websites:

http://www.gamemusicbundle.com/

The first one was a lot better, IIRC, but some people may still appreciate the link.
Also, the Humble Bundle for Android (which I assume has been mentioned in here)is now also offering Toki Tori. The above-average criterion doesn't even apply, so if you've donated anything at all then go and get your download key.

I can hardly so no to that! Nice find :yy:

Any guesses on the games? The 'scorching' arcade-strategy game is probably Hoard, and Dear Esther seems a reasonable shout for the 'fantastical first-person action-adventure game', but I dunno about the others.

You got one of them at least  Hoard, Zero Clash, Lume and Soulcaster :beard:

Well, Hoard was an easy call. It's the only bloody thing I can think of that fits the description  Bit of a 'meh' game from what I've heard, though. On the other hand, Zeno Clash is great (if a little, well, odd). I'm not familiar at all with the others.
I actually enjoy Hoard multiplayer sometimes.
Mojang and Humble Bundle have teamed up for a charity event. Mojang are building a game from scratch with the genre/theme decided by a site poll (results were RTS genre and a steampunk theme) over the course of 60 hours this weekend. You get to name your price and 100% of proceeds go to charity, so if you have a couple of quid to spare and want a game from the creators of Minecraft, it's worth a look [=

My thoughts exactly =P I paid $5, considering I'm woefully overdrawn that's about as much as I could stretch to, so hopefully Amazon Payments don't screw you over too badly on exchange rates :ahee:
What's happening with the Humble Bundle atm btw?

Yet another Indie bundle... the "Be Mine Indie Game Bundle" http://groupees.com/bemine

Wasteland Angel (PC Steam only)

Sideway New York (PC Steam only)

Xotic (PC Download + Steam)

Beep (PC/MAC download + PC Steam)

The Ball (PC download + Steam)

I think we've got about enough of these by now... two, with Humble Bundle and Indie Royale seemed like a nice sweet spot to me.

I think we've got about enough of these by now... two, with Humble Bundle and Indie Royale seemed like a nice sweet spot to me.

The problem is that it started out with some of the best indie games out there - I mean, the first two HIBs had World of Goo, Gish, Braid, Machinarium, Osmos etc in them, whereas nowadays we're seeing decent games, but definitely not at the same level. Well, I think the HBs have kept a decent standard, but these pretenders are lucky to have one game of the standard that HB reaches with three or more of its games each time. I don't mind all of these extra bundles becoming available, but I won't bother with most of them like I used to, as I just rack up a Steam library full of crappy indie games I'm never going to play.

I'm sure it damages other indie devs, too. If I want to check out some indie games, I can get five at a time for no money at all, so why should I bother paying £12 for Trine 2 on Steam? Also, I got Trine in a HIB, and I absolutely loved it, but the fact that I might be able to save some money for waiting for the sequel to show up in a future bundle is a real reason why I haven't bought it yet.

In general, though, I don't think we should discourage the rise of the bundle. They already sell indie packs on Steam, right? It might be nice to see some sort of integration for supporting this sort of system into Steam or something like that.
Indie Royale's new bundle came around quickly! The aptly-named "Alpha Collection" (and I've just noticed a "#1" in the title of the page :holmes:) is effectively a pre-order for three games currently at alpha stage - Towns, 3079 and Wyv and Keep - but you get to download a copy of the latest build right now.

They're still saying that PA might not be out until next year, so I'd assume not.

Yeah but they've recently said how they want to follow a Minecraft style approach from around Summer this year where people pay and get the current build the devs are working on :yy:

True, but I'm not sure that this works well with a "Pay what you want" release.
