for area of segment i did 1/2 x r squared x sin35-triangle and the found area of sector, then i misused them from each other,is that right??

Nice  If you got 119 for area of segment, then that's correct.

Did anyone get something like 20x^2+20x+5 = 20x^2+21x-5 In the end question.
I was stuck on this bit for ages and then I realized -5 from -5 is 10. Lol.

If you calculated upper bound as 3.61... and lower bound as 3.59.. then you would probably get 3/4 marks. 3.6 is the final answer and had to give reasons.

I think so. for area of sector i did angle/360 X r^2pie
Then I use the area of triangle rule to find the area. Finally subtract area of sector from area of triangle

yes if your quadratic equation was simplified

in november i was one mark off an A this year if grade boundaries are 140 for an A im at risk again :frown: can anyone give an educated guess on A boundary?

yeah, you should get all the working marks because usually it's only one mark for the correct answer and the rest of the marks for the working.. so thats like 4 marks
