Ideas to repair these heels or help me find a similar pair.

I have a pair exactly like these and I've walked really a lot in them. They are still OK and I still wear them however they have taken a lot of wear. The black part on the heels and some of the plastic on the heels has worn off. The heel length is slightly shorter than what it originally was. It doesn't feel as stable as before and the area that doesn't touch the ground is bendy and has some cracks.

The shoe looks alright but its really worn out now. I generally wear these shoes for walking a lot. Is there anyway to make them last longer. Also I can't seem to find a similar pair. Can anyone help me search? I want something really similar, transparentish, 5 inch. It should not have a back-strap as I like the feel of the back being free. (Allows me to pivot the shoe around for fun to kill time lol)
Hmm. If you take them to a cobbler (just google 'cobbler' or 'shoe repair' in your area, it should give you some - key cutting places often do it), they might be able to repair the heel for about £20.

Probably cheaper than buying another pair of shoes, and less hassle.
I think the damage might be a sign.

Timpsons, the engravers/key cutters/cobblers fix heels and can resole most shoes, so I would take them in to one of them if you have one nearby.

Thanks a lot, but how reputable is this site, doesn't look professional. I originally bought this on amazon and there was only the red option. The way its presented on this site makes the shoe look slutty but its really not with a good outfit. The amazon page portrayed it in a better way. But yes I do see how it can be adapted to go with a slutty look.

Hate to break it to you OP, but clear acrylic heels will never look anything OTHER than slutty. Sorry, but it's the truth because of the connection to strippers. I see them a lot at Pageants and they look SO tacky. You can find nicer platforms surely?

I've never ordered from this site, because I do not wear shoes like that. You can pay using paypal which covers you just in case anyway.

If you google for reviews you'll see it's pretty average.

Here's a link to a few:

They have an ebay account that hasn't been used for a while, possibly because they've moved over to their own site:

Annnd they even have a shop in LA:

So I think it'll be fine.
Are you sure you really want to repair those shoes, let alone buying a new pair?

I'd suggest moving on and looking for something completely different.

No offence, but the shoes look really tacky. Maybe something more sophisticated?

Great...if the OP is 40. I definitely sell similar shoes in my shop in what we call our "old lady" range.

OP, the shoes you want to replace are not what I would buy, but you like them and that's all that's important. And I can see that if placed with the right outfit, they wouldn't look slutty or tacky. If you want to buy a new pair, that website someone suggested seems legit as long as you use paypal. But i would definitely try a Timpsons, or similar, first to see if they can repair them. It'll be about half the cost of buying a new pair.
from the sounds of it there past repair :frown:
next time when the black bit gets quite warn take them to be repaired its surprisingly cheap  .... but the sound of the cracks makes me think there past this :frown:
