CCW Foundation art

Hello all

I just my acceptance on to the CCW foundation art course, and since it's such a large course I was wondering what people's experience of it was? Do you think it was worthwhile?
I think this is the first year of the CCW course. I could be wrong but I think I'm right :s-smilie:
nah, this is the second year they're doing it. but i think they have it so there are three different groups that go in on different days so there's not too many people at once, at least before you choose your specialism? again, could be wrong!

Do you think it's worth moving to do the course? The rent is just astronomical...
Depends where you live. If you live far away from london, yes. If you live in london or just outside the commute wont be more than 10 quid a day so just go from home.

I haven't actually checked the prices as I'm not going to CCW, how much are they? Most accomodation is around 80-100 quid a week.

I live in Yorkshire so I'd have to move aha, and I think it's 120-200 a week on average for halls? I have a place at a local college to do foundation, but I really want to go to London. I really don't know what to do!

I live just north of London, and I'm going to have to commute via the tube and buses. It'll take like an hour to two hours, but it'll be worth it. Plus I'll just read on the train

One option if you are coming from afar, is to rent somewhere just outside of London for cheaper and commute. Or start looking for work nearby.

I hope so. I haven't had my information pack yet and I wasn't able to go to an open day, so I'm not sure. All I know is I have to turn up on the 3rd of September not knowing anyone :s-smilie:
