1 eV = 1.6 x 10 ^ -19 J

so 100 eV = 100(1.6 x 10 ^ -19) J

and since W = QV

isn't it [100(1.6 x 10 ^ -19)] x [100 000] ?

Surely its just:

1 eV = 1.6 x 10 ^ -19 J

so 100,000 eV = 100,000(1.6 x 10 ^ -19) = 1.6 x 10 ^ -14 J

?
