Curb your enthusiasm and Seinfeld!
House definitely has to be up there I think.
Friends, The Vampire Diaries, One Tree Hill, Grey's Anatomy are amongst mine. I can't choose a fifth.

For me, there's a clear number 1, Community.

It's an absolutely fantastic show, the funniest ensemble comedy I've ever seen that incorporates some real emotional scenes beautifully. Seriously, if you've never seen it look the show up, the first season starts off a little slow since it's a very character driven show, but after a few episodes you'll be hooked.
1. Life on Mars
2. Breaking Bad
3. Sherlock
4. Doctor Who (classic series-not new!)
5. The Inbetweeners

Others which I considered and would shortly follow on a slightly longer list; Only Fools and Horses, Blackadder, The IT Crowd, Minder, Fawlty Towers, Ashes to Ashes.
1. House
2. Smallville
3. Family Guy
4. Life on Mars
5. Only Fools and Horses

You people all really need to watch The Sopranos. Seriousy, it lives up to the hype - it is indisputably the greatest TV series of all time.

Personally I think:

2. Game of Thrones (even though not as good as books)
3. Mad Men
4. Inbetweeners
5. Futurama
1) The Wire
2) Sopranos
3) Breaking Bad
4) Spartacus
5) Game of Thrones

Am I the only person who always thought Friends is boring as ****? :s-smilie:

Dexter
House
Big Bang Theory because it's the only comedy I actually find funny/bearable
Skins
Sex and the City

There are loads of others, and lots that I want to get into, too.

1. Sherlock
2. Friends
3. House
4. The Big Bang Theory
5. Lie to Me (taught me a lot!) or Mad Men.
