L-Vis 1990's Club constructions has dropped. It is heavy stuff, they weren't lying when they said the tracks were designed for peak time use. My favourite:

Got a 90% rating in the plug room. And yeah, heavier than anything from slugs so far bar maybe Girl Unit. Pretty sure that particular track took inspiration from Jam City's 'The Courts' though...
Loving this new one from Maya Jane Coles under her dubstep alias.

And this is out soon from bashmore.

I can see the appeal in that album. Like Pantha Du Prince meets FlyLo. Futuristic lounge feel to it. Only caught a few tracks and quite liked them, really need to get around to listening to the whole thing.

The album (Impermanence) is amazing. Sleek, sexy house all the way.

This is perhaps one of my favorite tracks from the past few years. Unbelievable how this gets people moving

I guess we can ask a mod to rename this thread now? Assuming Favorite can't do it himself.

Sorry, i missed this. I clicked on thread tools but there was no option to re-name. Think we will have to ask a mod.

Would it not be best changing the name of this thread to the House music society? Becasue as far as I know there isn't one.

Yeah, i was thinking maybe House/UK Bass as a lot of the stuff posted has been uk garage/funky aswell.

Ahh need to give the new DJ-Kicks a listen!

I just listened to Dross Glop, Battles' new remix compilation, I thought it was good - there's some wonderful stuff in there you all might be interested in.

Halfway through Sepalcure's album now, the stuff is other-worldly. No idea how I've slept on it for so long.

Second the recommendation for maya jane coles dj kicks mix. I don't listen to many mixes as I tend to get bored/lose interest but she weaves through the tracks here with such poise that the mix never dies down. Has a nice energy running through it, especially after the first two tracks are out of the way. Wonderfully diverse track selection helps a lot too.

This is one of my favourites from it. Beautiful video

Ah I love listening to mixes, It's a great way to find new tracks. From this one, 'meant to be' and 'it's a crime' are two that I instantly wanted to listen to over and over. I know what you mean though, sometimes they can go on a bit when you're just listening at home.

Yes this tune did very well, think it was beatport's deep house track of the year. Maybe check out lee foss' stuff too, kinda similar vibes.

The Cosmic Lounge hereby endorses this initiative, and offers up several sensational 'deep cuts' by way of tribute/encouragement:

(1'22" onwards.)

(2'44" onwards.)

And the pièce de resistance; possibly my favourite house-track of all time:

(0'48" onwards.)

Enjoy.

Pencil Pimp was the first track of theirs I heard, so good!

If anyone's based in London they should look out for Four Tet's most recent announcement - he's doing a set for a fiver b2b with Caribou and some guests in November. A FIVER!

Also, new track by the man:
