Convergence Test

Determine if the sequence converges and if it does, find it's limit.

2n +((-1)^n)*(n^(1/2))

I've been trying to use the alternating series test however I'm not sure what to do about the 2n?

I don't know about the alternating series test but I would use the sandwich rule on that: Show that it's 2nn\geq 2n -\sqrt{n} and show that this sequence in turn is greater than another sequence which also tends to infinity.
