So basically you made an off-topic comment

In a word, yes.
They never got Bin Laden then, he's been gone ages. Videos of him getting younger, some questionable whether they were actually him and the most sophisticated intelligence agency in the world taking 10 years to find a bloke. No way.

Just sounds like propaganda.

Thanks! I just get incredibly restless when inaccurate things about Pakistan are said.

Indeed and there is no doubt it was one of the worst genocides of the 20th century as well. I hope if Imran Khan comes to power he offers an apology to the Bengali people. The main reason for refusing to offer an apology even amongst those who know the extent of what happened is that most of the atrocities were arguably committed by pro-Pakistani Bengali Volunteer Groups (Razakars) such as Al-Badr and Al-Shams brigade and not by the Pakistani army itself. And yet that's no excuse considering the command to form these groups came from Yahya himself.

You seem like an honest person so I'll take your word for it. 300k people is still a damn lot though.

the pakistani estimate was 300k, 3m was orignally stated by the bangladeshis. J Rummel wrote a book on genocide statistics and stated that 1.5 million was the most accurate estimate.

the purpose of pakistan was to wipe out protestors intellectuals and non muslims and not necessarily in that order and i suppose if india hadnt stepped in 3 million plus would have easily been on the cards.

I dont think people say innaccurate things about pakistan, its just it hasnt got a great history of contributing postive news. This trumped up charge of this doctor is yet another example

I always knew al Qaeda and the Taliban would help the CIA with their propaganda efforts.

:facepalm2: Come on think about it. If Bin Laden died years ago or if he was still alive then you must also think that everything going on In Afghanistan is a lie and that the Taliban al Qaeda and every other affiliate organisation are a lie too. Had he not died these groups could very easily come out and tell the world America was lying and score a huge propaganda coup of their own.

1) The Pakistani estimate was 30,000.

2) The Bangladeshis themselves later admitted in 2005 that the figure of 3m was translated wrong and that the actual figure was 300,000.

3) Rommell is one historian and I very much doubt you have actually read his works or those of any other historians on the topic.

No more to say really, you can look the above up but I'am sure you'll just continue with your tripe.

Rommel is a highly regarded hsitroian, specialising in historical statisticall analysis, particualr in terms of casualties of war, geneocide etc, which he has investigated all over the world.

equally its odd that the bangladeshis would make such a significant and obvious reporting mistake (300k =/= 3 million) and only correct it 30 years later

pakistan reputation was sullied by that attempted genocide, which was probably greater than any level of killing Irael has undertaking, but which do you think recieves more critisism from the muslim community?
Paksitans reputation was fallen to to the depths of the dregs with their involment in islamic terrorism and support for al queda, taleban and bin laden, so it was of no surprise that they would lock up one of the men that helped get him, even if that doctors actions has probably saved the lives of millions of muslims

Oh, ok, one level above the HinduTimes. Still doesn't make a difference, No one (who has actually studied the life of Bin laden) is going to believe Bin Laden had a stash of porn, especially when it's "according to the US".

Such propoganda, but when you have people like you who buy into it due to your irrationality, it thrives.

edit: read your source aswell

Specifically, the officials said they did not know if bin Laden himself had acquired or viewed the materials.

What's irrational over believing that somebody in that compound had access to pornographic material? That's like saying it's irrational to believe that Catholic priests molested young children.
You're the irrational one for believing that it's irrational for somebody in that compound to watch porn.

You say that anybody who has studied the life of Bin Laden would know he wouldn't watch porn?
Well, if that's how you're going to justify yourself, then that's like saying anybody who studied the life of the Christian televangelist, Jimmy Swaggart, would know that he wouldn't have had sex with a prostitute.
bin laden is still alive.

Strongly doubt your in any position to be talking about irrationality, as if Muslims are the only one's who wouldn't believe this crap.

You want to believe people who killed the man, and kept changing their story about 10 times in the first few hours? Then a year later, they release "letters sent by him", a small portion of it to be precise, to give a uncontextualized propaganda based impression on the man? No thanks, I'll leave the judgment to God.

So he helped bring the most wanted terrorist in the world to justice and what does he have to show for it? Life in prison :eek:

You don't think working for a foreign government to violate the country's sovereignty and help death squads extra-judicially assassinate people inside is someone who needs to be brought to justice?

The sentence is harsh, but it's exactly the same as someone in this country or the US would get for doing the same.

I think you are confused bro - this doctor didnt help the US violate any soverighnty, CIA agents were already operating in pakistan long before. All he did was get bin ladens dna - which is what the paksitani government had pledged to help the US do.

I shouldnt be surprised i suppose, you were also confused about 9/11 too

Can I ask you something?
Do you have a soft spot for Bin Laden?
I mean, you have a picture of a gun wielding child in a Middle-East hotspot, I saw your thread on a Muslim forum where you said that apostates of Islam should be killed, and you're opposed to the idea of giving information about a terrorist to America...this raises a few eyebrows about you, and one can't do anything but be suspicious that you have a soft spot for people like Bin Laden.

EDIT: as I went back to look for your thread on the Islamicawakening forum, your thread which said that apostates should be killed isn't there, how convenient
As I flicked back through my history, and found your thread and clicked on it, your thread 'couldn't be found', only raises more questions about you.

1. The image is a palastinian child holding a gun as a means to defend himself again Israeli tanks. It is somewhat inaccurate because instead of the gun, he would be holding a stone. But still, it has a deep representation that I wouldn't expect you to really understand.

2. You read the title and made a judgment, you did not read the content (Judge a book by its cover ring a bell)? Which, assuredly had nothing to do with promoting any killing in this day an age.

That forum in particular is clocked (watched). The moderators/admins are very strict due to this (on what type of stuff people post). It used to be a place where people like Al Amriki used to post.

The main benefit of that forum is because that's the place where you can get the most accurate information on events in the ME etc. As opposed to the international media (including things that aren't reported by the mainstream), it is also a lot quicker.

3. Defending a person from false attributions makes me have a soft spot? I guess I must have a soft spot for a lot of people, or for justice in general. I guess the Non-Muslim from which I linked that article to you, must also have a soft spot for BL.

BL is a person Muslims do not judge. We know very little about him to start attributing different titles to him. That boat went the moment the USA killed him without trial, and with him, all the questions died as well.

4. Correct, your not allowed to turn over another Muslim to foreigners. No two ways about it. It doesn't matter how bad that Muslim is, you never ever turn him over. If the person did something wrong, then they should be reported to the authorities who would then give him a fair trial (instead of killing him like the USA did) under a Shariah court.

And just in case you're wondering, it doesn't just apply to Muslims, it applies to Non-Muslims as well, we won't hand them over.
"The ruler of the Muslim community is bound to protect the non-Muslims and to save them from aggression. Should they fall into captivity, the Imam must martial all the resources to secure their release and punish the transgressors against their lives and properties even if they were the sole non-Muslims living in a remote village." (Ibn Al Najaar Al Hanbali, Matalib Ula An-Nuha, Volume 2, p. 602-603)
Let's hope those eyebrows don't become fixated now

So if you had had information about the knowledge of the primarily Pakistani paedophile ring in Rochdale, you would not have informed the police?
