Is it actually difficult or does it just require a lot of work to learn all the content? How much time per week would you say it requires to get an A? Considering I have five other Highers..
Higher History is not so much about just learning all the content, it's hard in terms of the fact that you need to completely change how you approach the exam questions, whereas SG was simply "memorise" and write down all the details in the exam, almost reptitively. Higher is so much more about using what you know to analyse why things happened etc.
I'd say that by the fact you've put Higher English furthur up the list, shows that History will eventually end furthur up, as they are both hugely essay based and completely different from their prospective SG versions.

Hardest Higher English Higher Chemistry Higher Maths/Biology/Geography (They all seem on-par, I can do each pretty much as well as the other so idk about order)
