AQA GCSE Maths Unit 3 Papers?

Hey everyone how you guys feeling for this exam ?? ( new on TSR:smile:
Which mark schemes does everyone need: I can locate them I think I have all 4 sets mark schemes somewhere ???

For me - I don't know what happened but in Unit 1 & 2 I was one off a B (I got a C in both) and that's put me in a tricky situation.

Does anyone know roughly what I'd need to get in this paper to get a B?

I think if you get around 35-40 out of 80, you should get a B overall. Don't forget, this exam is work 55% of the final grade compared to the other two!

However, if anybody has a proper idea on the grade boundaries, i'd love it if they shared it with us. I'd like to know how many marks I'd need for an A.

From the practice papers, I've noticed the questions in this exam can be quiet tricky and you can lose some 'easy' marks.

Are you sure? According to the specification, this exam is worth 40%?

It must be 40% then. I think it was 55% for last year.

@ alj123 Yeah same :eek: because AQA are always making their papers harder than past papers and also we don't has any actual official past papers, just practise papers so they could catch us by surprise. Anyway good luck : hope you do well.

All I'm thinking of is:

Circle Thereoms (geometry)
Vectors
Enlargements and Transformations
Loci and Construction
Trigonometry
Quadratic Graphs


Does anyone for sure know any more? Cos I had such a poo teacher this year who never really told us

I only got 42/80 on practice paper set 4!!:frown: what's that on the grade boundary about a d??? :frown:

Rather more nervous now I know this exam is weighted more than the other two. Why is that?
