Woo, programme music! I'm doing that.

I think I'm confident on the set works. Not so much on the comparisons though. I'm not entirely sure how much we have to know about those.

I made some summary notes over the half term to revise, and our teacher set us some practice/example essay q's so I've been using those too.

************ all my case studies for West Side story (music for the stage) aren't post-1945, they're written in the 10 or so years before it! will it matter too much?!

Thanks god someone feels the same!
Yeah I've focused way more on the other two as well because the Renaissance is so unclear (lets be honest, they didn't even know what they were doing back then anyway :P).
Fingers crossed.
Good luck!

I did the Maxwell Davies (dream question!) and the Dowland/Italian madrigals because I didn't think I had enough on character pieces to write an essay soley about that.
What did you do?
I thought the listening was fine, although we were lucky because we'd covered some child of our time in lessons as a potential work for the comparison listening question. Lucky I guess!
