conservation of angular momentum

Hello everyone!

What are the conditions of the conservation of angular momentum ?

And what conservation of angular momentum has to do with moon ?

In the same way that linear momentum is conserved in a system if no resultant external force acts on it, angular momentum is conserved in a system if no resultant external torque (turning force) acts on it.

You study angular momentum at secondary school? Lol, we haven't done that at all in A-Level Physics (only saw it on M5 in Further Maths).

No wonder this country is going to the dogs!

Starting to remember why I barely dropped a mark on A level physics...
