What's the difference between Standard and Non- Standard Single Rooms?

Definitions probably vary from university to university. Perhaps the best person to ask is the accommodation officer of the university in question via email?

Depends on the university. I guess non-standard could mean it has a washbasin or en suite.

Non-standard rooms are smaller than standard ones and therefore cheaper.
