Need advice on what to do?

Basically I need some advice with my friends. I'm gonna use letters to make this more easy to understand. My close friends are group A, and some other people I know are group B. I'm friends with group B but not really that close to any of them if that makes sense. Now if group A were to do something, they'd most probably invite me, however group B are now starting to invite group A to lots of things and I feel quite isolated. What shall I do?

Is there a way to tag along with your close friends? That way you can get to know the other group, and encourage an invitation next time.

such a first world problem, OP. i'd ignore it / them and make other friends.

Maybe group B are trying to get to know your new friends so that they don't feel you're just tagging with them when group A are not available?
or is it that B invite A and then you get left out?
