Declining my insurance offer o.O

Hi, just wondering about this scenario: I am refused entry to my firm choice uni ( but I really want in and I'd rather wait another year than take my insurance) but qualify for my insurance choice.

Is it still possible to decline my 2nd choice?

Cheers

Ring them up and explain the situation

Yes, but if you want to go into clearing then they won't allow it. But you're perfectly fine to reject joining a university you don't want to.

They have the ability to not allow someone to be released and then use Clearing, but many do allow it because it's of no benefit for them to stop it.
