1. When did you find out you needed to wear glasses?
16 or 17
2. What was your prescription then?
-0.25 in my right eye, -0.50 in my left

4. When do you wear your glasses?
Very rarely :/ I should probably wear them more

I first realised I needed glasses when I couldn't read things (tiny things, I might add) across the room that my boyfriend could. It was infuriating. Then, I was out with friend at Westminster in London and I playfully tried my friends glasses on, who also has a weak prescription. I could believe how clearly I could see!

I'd highly recommend looking around online before buying glasses. I bought my last 3 pairs online and the last 2 pairs have been expensive designer glasses, but I paid a fraction of the price. I can't be sure about the pair I currently own but I assume they must cost £200 usually with normal thickness lenses and I paid £85 inc special delivery. I know for certain that when buying the pair before the ones I currently own I saved £120 on the price tag. As long as you get all the necessary information there's no problem.

Had a squint when I was born, so had surgery at 3 years old and worn glasses ever since. Although my eyes have improved so much since then that I don't need to wear them very often anymore. Only when I feel my eyes getting tired, so usually when I'm having to focus a lot, ie. when I'm reading or on the computer. I think my prescription's around +0.50 now.

I started wearing glasses when I was 9. I never wore them so my vision has obviously deteriorated to about zilch.. everything I see is very blurry.

by the look of those, you can see why I don't wear them. I chose them when I was either drunk or possessed
1. 13
2. -3
3. -3-and-a-bit in right, -3-and-a-bit-more in left Haven't had an eye test in 2 years though...
4. All the time
how often do you guys have an eye test? My optician says I should have one every other year, but my sister was advised to have one every year despite the fact that she has absolutely nothing wrong with her eyesight - it's just because everyone else in the family wears glasses. Which makes me rather confused - surely I should have my eyes tested more often than her?

I first got glasses when I was about 12, I couldn't see work on the board and I was falling behind on work, my teacher noticed it and spoke to my parents.

I am -2.00 in both eyes, my prescription then was about -1.25 I think, but I didn't wear some for a long period of time as I lost them.

I own two pairs of glasses technically, one I got last year and one is coming next week as I sometimes forget my glasses at home.

They look a bit less yellow in the flesh!

I wear my glasses the majority of the time - even when I don't need them, but I take them off on special occasions like parties, weddings etc.

Had issues since primary 4/5 (year 5/6 for those of you from England) but was never prescribed glasses until form one in high school (year 9?)

Prescription then was probably -1ish in my right eye, maybe -0.5 in my left (that's why my optom waited to prescribe me anything).

It's minus 1.5ish in my left eye now and -2 in my right eye, I think.

Apparently my left eye is/was strong enough that didn't have tonwear them all time time, but I do now anyway- cant really see properly without them.
