If you haven't seen it then watch Copycat with Sigourney Weaver and Holly Hunter.

That film was kind of boring imo. Far too predictable.

I suspect most of you will have seen it but The Departed, Such an epic film.

I agree departed amazing (though a copy of infernal affairs). Nicholson tried a bit too hard though IMHO.

Neither Scarface (1983, Brian De Palma)-Crime nor Ghostbusters (1984, Ivan Reitman)-Sci Fi/Comedy are on this list, what gives? Also I want to recommend:
Red Cliff (2008, John Woo)-Martial Arts/Action,
The Dark Knight Rises (2012, Christopher Nolan)-Action,
Dodgeball (2004, Rawson Marshall Thurber)
Babel (2006, Alejandro González Iñárritu)-Drama,
Sunshine (2007, Danny Boyle)-Sci-Fi,
The Avengers (2012, Joss Whedon)-Action and
Thor (2011, Kenneth Brannagh)-Action
to name but a few. There's loads more that I don't see on the list but looking up the details for every single one is a bit of a chore. Most if not all of these films are easily as good as or better than Casino Royale and that made the list.

Has anyone here seen Shadowlands with Anthony Hopkins? A great but underrated film I think. Thoughts?
All the X-Men except Origins. That film sucked.

Yup. I'm into X-Men now! Please don't assume it's just about Wolverine!
That reminds me. PLEASE put X-Men (2000, Bryan Singer) - Science Fiction. Yeah, X2 (2003, Bryan Singer) - Science Fiction would go together.

Anyone seen 'The Number 23'? I watched it not long ago and thought it was really good. Kind of bizarre seeing Jim Carey in a serious role, only ever seen him in Bruce Almighty and Liar Liar, so all the way through the film i was waiting for him to make origami geese or something :P

Anyway, Yeah i recommend it for a good psychological film.

Also, Public Enemies, Inglorious Basterds and The Assassination of Jesse James are 3 good movies everyone should watch.

It sounds like you haven't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind with Jim Carey then. It is him in a serious role too, and it's a fantastic film so I recommend it!
Recommend Now & Then as a good coming of age, summery film,

Nice list; I was contemplating putting the usual suspects and reservoir dogs on mine but didnt in the end - I watched the usual suspects having already been told the ending so didnt enjoy it quite so much. clever film though
