I know it's impossible to judge, but based on how tricky you thought the papers were, how many marks from both would you say is a B? Would you say higher than 90 ish?

I really don't know and I'm not just being evasive. Remember I have been able to do this stuff for 30 years so I have lost the ability to judge.

I think I got 70-72 on the non calculator and 79-84 on the calculator paper... What grade would that give me average ???

This one went SO much better than Non-Calc on Thursday in my opinion! Good luck everyone on April 18th, hope we all get what we wanted! :wink:

Almost certainly an A.

Is 90 the median score for a B, or is it slightly higher? :smile:

Something like that. You'd have to look back at previous boundaries.

+ I'm shore 15b is not 5 ... Me and most of my friends got 3.3 recurring or 3.. Because the scale facile was 3 and 10/3 = 3.3 recurring ...

How did you get 73% for the histogram question?
I'm sure I got above 90 for this. I'm lucky the part (b) for the trapezium was 5 as everyone in my class got 3.3 and I stupidly skipped the question.
I basically got every question I answered correct except for the last 1 which I only got 2 marks on.

15b) I can just see the answer through proportional reasoning but I guess you could use similar triangles:

x4=10+x12\displaystyle \frac{x}{4}=\frac{10+x}{12}

22) Work out the volume of the big cone and subtract the volume of the little cone. Again you will need to use similarity to work out the radius of the small cone.
