for that you have to give agreements and disagreements dont you? well you could say that its not depressive, its larkins fear of aging, by not wanting to lok back over his past is almost denying that there was a past or that hes aged, you could link it iin with the 'old fools' poem as in this one he comments on the old people living in the past. by refusing to remember e is trying to deny this laps of life. or you could say that some parts of high windows show a positive light on the same issues, 'the trees' for example where he gives groing old an aspect of reburth by suggesting that each mortal death leads to a new life which is also hinted at in the final poem with the birds eggs un broken at the end
