when does student finance open for 2014 students

I've never had a letter saying when only an email and given how so many people don't bother to check their emails I thought it was important to point it out.

Do you know how Intentional students apply for student loans? without a National insurance number?

depends on what you mean by international. If you are from the EU you can just leave the national insurance number blank and make sure you fill out the EU only form. Non EU can't apply for a student loan.

Yeah, it's for somebody from France who is going to study at Cambridge.

A quick check on direct gov tells me forms for this year will be available from student finance england in April. They will be eligible for a tuition fee loan only but not the maintenance loan or grant. However should they come from a household with low income then they will be eligible for this:

you can already start your application though, I have it doesn't let you do anything else to later though
Student Finance England posted this status on their facebook page:

"The application forms for courses starting or continuing from 1st September 2014 are not yet available. We expect to launch these within the next few weeks, but please keep an eye on our page and we will confirm an exact date soon!"

so, soon hopefully! :biggrin:
