OMG... thanks alot for these, great for condensed notes!!!! =D

Really good I did however notice you mistakenly put the speed of light as 3*10^6 rather than 3*10^8

Hi,

Made this set of revision notes last year for physics and thought I would upload them so people can use them if they are of any use. I think they are mostly correct but if not let me know and il make the changes  They include all the notes, definitions and deviations i think you need

They are for AQA physics AS Spec A

Apologies if this is in the wrong section!

The definitions and deviations are attached below however revision notes are too large to upload to TSR so links:

I don't suppose you have any A2 Physics notes in a similar format do you? They would be extremely helpful!
Excellent notes. Thank you

Apologies, links are back up now. For anyone doing AQA Chemistry and Edexcel Maths/Further Maths would it be useful be uploading my revision notes for them? they are in a similar format?

Yes please, has anyone else been given access to theses notes so that they can then send it to me.

was attempting some questions and I couldnt figure out how to do it after leaving it and coming back to it. The question is the following:

Two 8(Ohm) resistors and a battery of emf 12.0v and internal resistance 8 (Ohm) are connected in series with each othe. Sketch the circuit diagram and calculate

i) The power delivered to each external resistor

ii) The power wasted due to internal resistance
(These questions I get is part b I dont understand) Read on

b) The two 8 (Ohm) resistors in a are reconnected in parallel with each other then connected to the same battery. Sketch the circuit diagram and calculate

i) The power delivered to each external resistor

ii) The power wasted to internal resistance

I got the following as what I thought the circuit would look like

(This is the question I dont understand part bi() and I havent attempted bii) yet
ive started AS physics need an A overall for medicine does anyone have any advice. im doing ocrA

You'd use P=V^2/R With V^2=144 (12^2) and R=4 because 1/Total R = 1/R1 + 1/R2 so 2/8 and the reciprocal being 4 so it'd be 144/4 = 36W

These are great thank you, can you give me the link to get the chemistry ones please? I can't find them.

This is Awesome! A very informative and objectified set of revision notes.

These notes are amazing! Used them for my mock test and got a high A (88%).

One grammatical mistake on page 2 of the unit 2 revision notes, it says:
"IF EVER ASKS FOR DECELERATION NEVER USE A MINUS SIGN IS IT IS SLOWING DOWN!"

Other than that, perfect! Thanks Charlie!

hey, what grade did you get overall for physics?

This was posted in 2011, received no replies from him and he hasn't been on in over a year.

I would be interested in what other people got though, but this seems a good resource even for sole revision (along with past papers).

Thnks,life saver.
Hey do you guys know whether I need to know how to derive the diffraction grating equation???

If I do need to can you tell me how? thanks

Just a heads up, I think you mean 'derivation' instead of 'deviation'.

Do you think they would be helpful to someone who has not started the course yet?
