Best phone signal at York

Hi,

I'm starting at York uni (hopefully) this year, and the contract on my phone runs out in July, so I was wondering whether anyone could tell me what they find the best network is for signal in the York area. I have an iPhone so it'd have to be one of the networks that support iPhones.

Most networks will work fine. I've been on Orange for three years whilst here and haven't had a problem.

I've had no problem at all with 3, don't know if they do iPhone though as I am a Blackberry girl!

Thanks to both of you. If most of the networks are fine I think I'll just find the cheapest one and go with that!

I've used Orange (which also means TMobile), GiffGaff (which also means O2) and Vodafone. They've all been fine. GiffGaff was slightly better but they all almost always had signal so I think the price for what you want and being able to get a signal back home if you will be going often are probably more important.
