I totally agree with you, I am happy if people read my blog and even happier if they follow it but I don't want to come across as desperate for readers. I also noticed that when people add you on bloglovin, they don't actually ever come to visit your blog, it will just be on their reading list (I did this in the beginning but I've removed all those blogs since then)

I'm not really sure what bloglovin' does  I have it but - other people can see my blog on it? I dunno. I'm a bit useless at this :colondollar:

Really? I get quite a lot of traffic from bloglovin & hellocotton. Although only usually if I have a picture heavy post - the sites only give you a preview of the first picture I think?
New post! Leopard print and French

How do people stand on links and photos? Should I carry on with my abundance of links to the seller site or is that just free advertising for them?

I wouldn't mind some free advertising if I were the seller
If (s)he has sold something that is post worthy, I don't see what's wrong with linking

Are a lot of people here using IFB? I joined it shortly after I started my blog, maybe a year and half ago but very quickly got bored of it and the endless requests to read other people's blog and to follow them so that they would follow me back. I think the point of having a blog is that it is something that you enjoy doing and want to share passion etc, but most people just seem to want a large number of readers.

I only have two followers on my blog :colondollar:  My blog is mostly for me to write my thoughts, I don't really expect many people to follow it although having SOME readers is nice :p:

I'm actually reading all of the posts that everyone makes  So yeah, sorry if I don't follow you, too much hassle for me to do that but I do read every post and link on this thread

I like links on blog posts! Means I can easily snap up for myself whatever the blogger is talking about
Blah, my parents have both said a resounding no to me spending £65 on 56 nail varnishes from the US, lol!
I need to talk to some male bloggers or men in general interested in fashion, about the rise in popularity in menswear, if anyone wants to get involved could you pm me or just quote this post and I'll get back to you.
Will just be a couple of questions so won't take up too much time
