Uni offer question

If a uni states that they want BBB is ABC equally valued?
It depends on the university.
Some offers will say 'BBB or equivalent' but if not, then getting ABC and not BBB is grounds to not accept you onto the course because you didn't meet the offer.

Best thing to do is email the university in question and ask if they will accept ABC instead of BBB.

A complicating circumstance...

Suppose that a person has applied to read experimental psychology and received that BBB offer on A-levels of Maths, Biology, and French.

Having ABC where the C is in French perhaps strengthens the hand; where it is in one of the other two, it weakens it.

Ahh, yes, the other person added something I forgot.
They might come back and say they'll accept ABC if the C is in a certain subject. eg applying for Maths, an A in maths, B in physics, C in, say, economics, they'll be more likely to accept you than if you get an A in economics, a B in physics and a C in maths.

So it comes down to the subjects and how full the course is with people who exactly met or exceeded the offer.
