Ahhhh crap :argh: !!! I'm Indian  ..... I dont think too many ppl out there at Bath will look like me!!!:dong:

Also since I'm an international student :headbang: I'm not allowed an provisional!!!! :bawling:

I've never been to Bath so I wouldn't know about that. Surely there'll be an Indian society or something at Bath uni though? We have a society for every single ethnicity at KCL  Just make friends with an older Asian guy and ask to borrow his ID sometimes. Simples.

The bouncer isn't going to know that you're not allowed a provisional license

Ohhh!!! Thankz anyways!!!

BTW do u have any idea if I(international student) can apply for a provisional license??

And is it really possible to use somebody else's ID???? I mean they can easily spot its not your passport!!!

Not sure if international students can apply for a provisional, don't see why not, but you'd have to ask the DVLA on that.

Yes it is possible to use someone else's ID if they look like you. Usually when it's busy a doorman or barman will just have a quick glance at the date on the id. Just depend on your luck on the night really.

Well just hope everytime I go out.... the clubs are busy

( Or can I just bribe the bouncer :colone: )

I checked about the provisional thing I need to be a British citizen!! :frown:

Won't a drivers license from INDIA do???? :colondollar:
I'm nearly 21 and I've never been on a night out in the town etc, either. I don't want to pay shedloads for drinks every week, especially since I don't drink at all. However, going out to these sorts of places seems to be the only/main way of meeting people, girls etc, so in some ways I feel I have no choice.

Is it impossible not to spend the suggesed amounts, or can you do the socialising part without all the pricey drinking?

Any official Indian ID (drivers liscence/permit, passport) will do.

From my limited experience, I DO know several international students who were let in at 17

most definitely, not including predrinks i usually just spend a tenner. even less if you bring a hip flask and just take shots from it instead of buying drinks!
