Gap Year

I need some ideas. I have experience in a general dental practice and I have done volunteering in an old peoples home, but I need more. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to make my application stronger??
Any help is really appreciated.

Try and get work experience at places like dental hospitals, dental labs, community dental care, specialist dental practices like ortho or perio etc.

Volunteering in an old people's home is enough as long as you do it over a long period of time.
do you think volunteering in a hospital would be of any help??

Try and get some experience in a dental hospital, or in a maxillofacial or orthodontic department of a general hospital. You could volunteer with a charity like the British Red Cross. If you can afford it, there are plenty of volunteering opportunities abroad too!

I'd recommend you also do something for yourself during the year, like learn an instrument or work to earn some money, or even some travelling. Universities like people who are well rounded, and don't just focus on getting in.
