The Student Room Group

Can we get some sort of nerdy maths/science joke thread going?

I'll start;
Are you Pascal's Triangle? Because you've got my binomial expanding.

If I was an enzyme I'd be DNA helicase so I can unzip your genes.

Maths puns are the first sine of madness.

Keeping it real.

What do scientists call a benzene ring with all the carbon atoms replaced with iron atoms?
A ferrous wheel.

Loolll, despite me being in favour of a science and maths jokes thread, this was epic
Just before the holidays, my Maths teacher said "Asymptotes are like strippers: you can get close but you can't touch". I know it's not a joke but I'll definitely never forget what an asymptote is.

Anyway, I just lost an electron. I should really keep a better ion them.

Got some to share:
Argon walks into a bar.
The bartender says, "We don't serve noble gases here!"
Argon doesn't react.

A neutron walks into a bar. "I'd like a beer" he says. The bartender promptly serves up a beer."How much will that be?" asks the neutron. "For you?" replies the bartender, "no charge".
It's not technically a joke, but this YouTube video is a parody of "I Will Survive" and is very well done: I Will Derive!

Disclaimer: I don't have an opinion on how difficult Physics or Biology are. I do Geography A-Level, what the hell do I know? I just found the picture funny.

Why is benzene such a popular name?
It's got a nice ring to it.

Why do chemists prefer day rates?
Because they're cheaper than nitrates.

What did the thermometer say to the graduated beaker?
You may have graduated, but I've got more degrees than you.

Oh dear...
I don't like chloroethylene and I don't like glycol ether.
