we are half way and starting alkaline earth metals, though i've read a few chapters ahead and doing extractions of metals. Now drawing ever closer to the organic chemistry chapters :O borring organic.

Ohh you've done all the boring bits, Redox -Easy marks and MEGA important!

You'll like the next few chapters :tongue:. They're not hard, just really...understanding. The sections you've done currently, learn them religiously, it'll be worth it in June! :smile:

I really don't know but I don't think it was very fair since the 2012 Jan exam was actually quite difficult and comparable to the older years!

Um kinda we started doing experiments etc. on organic for a week or so and some notes, almost finished it I think

You're moving pretty fast tbh :tongue: Get a ton of revision done for the exam and ace it! :biggrin:

YEP :biggrin: I think the ISA or EMPA w/e it is will get me down a tonne of marks ;p WAS IT HARD when you did it? Or have you yet to do it

Did you get exactly 65/70? Or do you just know it was that as a minimum due to that being the cap for CHEM1 Jan '12 for 100UMS?

Nha I thought I lost around 5 marks min, but turned out I lost 0 marks, 70/70.
