I really don't understand why people talk about today's society as being full of sex and innuendo like it's a new thing. When I was young Madonna's sex book was all the rage and there were programmes like Eurotrash and the Channel 5 soft-core pornos that were shown late at night. All of these were staple viewing at all girl sleepovers with somebody sat by the TV in case a parent came in to the room!
The only difference is everything is now completely digitised, instead of someone bringing in a dirty magazine and everyone going to look at in the bushes, kids now have it on their phones.
It is severely ignorant to just ignore the fact that young teenagers are drawn to activities of a sexual nature. We should be working towards changing the under age law to avoid criminalising fourteen and fifteen year olds and spending more time giving good quality sex education in schools from an earlier age. People say that it will encourage young people to start having sex earlier but I feel it's entirely up to the individual, just as their are kids that choose not to smoke or drink, there are kids that choose not have sex, but the ones that do shouldn't be vilified for their choices.
