What are you looking for in a university experience?
I just put Manchester as my firm choice to study Criminology.

Grade needed: ABB
AS Grades: ICT(A) Religion(A) Maths(C) Technology and Design(B)

I have banked T&D so I need to pull my Maths up to a B. I will get it tight to do so, I'm currently sitting on a low C.

Sitting C1,C2,C3,C4 & S1 in summer:colondollar:

I'm hoping I get into Manchester, it seems to be a top class Uni. I have Northumbria as my insurance choice to study Crimonology and Forensic(280 UCAS points)

lots of fun!
Going to firm Manchester for Physics with Astrophysics.
Got an offer of A*AA, and I'm sitting Maths, Physics, Biology, and Welsh Bacc. My AS grades were: Maths (A) Physics (A) Biology (A) Music (A) English Literature (A).
Applied for accommodation at Woolton, Allen, and Dalton Ellis in that order.
Manchester looks like a really world class university, and as a Physics applicant it seems to be the place to be!

Why does everybody have such a huge prejudice against international students?

Anyways, I haven't talked to anybody who only had international students in their flat. I live in Burkhardt and in my flat there are 7 British students and 3 EU/International students for example ...

No no i dont, its just i have heard from a few people and my teachers at school that some international students are more prone to working a lot of the time due to higher fee costs and wanting to make sure they dont mess it up- which is understandable!!! I want to try and make is easy to socialise and make sure i have a good time haha:smile:

are people in your flat mainly first years or do you make a mixture?

Why do you wanna live in VP then? Only first years in my flat. Not many students really want to live in halls after first year.

People seem to thinkt they only meet people in their hall. I met most of my friends on my course / in societies. You don't need to worry that much
