Historiography, though I don't think you'll need that at A Levels.

Provenance is applicable in any source-based exam/essay.
Catalyst is always useful, too.

Yeah, specialist words that can be used in an exam to describe historical events.

casus belli, status quo, ipso-facto, reactionary, revolutionary, coup d'etat...the usual ones that turn up in history books.
