How long after an interview does it take to hear back from sainsburys?

^^ I know it'll be different for every sainsburys, think i had the last interview slot so the important people should be making their decision over the next few days, also was told its an agency that rings you up and offers the job. Do they still get in contact if you dont get the job? So inpatient

Nerve wracking isn't it! Seemed I was waiting a lifetime, but was only about 4 or 5 days. But as you said, it varies. Good luck xx

i only waited two days...then got a phonecall from their headquarters about hours....then i turned them down! it was a fun process!
1st time they got back to me within 7 - 10 days offering me a position which I turned down.

2nd time it took them 6 weeks to tell me no.
I phoned up checking and they kept saying the store hasn't filled in your file yet so we don't know.

Funnily enough I've went and applied again, desperate times and all that.

Took a month, probably would've taken even longer if I hadn't phoned HRSS to ask what the hell was going on.

Dont think I could be doing with the month or six weeks wait, hopefully in the next few days I'll find out.
Mine took around... hmmm.... less than a day. I had my interview at 4:30, had a phonecall the next morning at around 10/11 o clock. So about 18 hours lol. Good luck!

No, I would wait. It took me about a week and a half to hear back. If you have been rejected then you are sent an email. I was given the job, but turned it down for another job. Hope you get the job

Same, they phoned me about 5 times, twice before I missed, I phoned them back, and they were like bla bla hours, I was like I can't do them as I have another job now. So I declined. Two days later at work, I got a phone call to my home number which my dad picked up asking me about the job. I got home and they phoned me again :/

Yes, please do, always go for more than one job at a time, it increases your chances :P

It took me about a month. They tried calling me in the middle of a lesson. I had to beg my teacher to let me out!!

However, now that I am safely employed, they're cocking it all up. So yeah, best of luck. Poorly organised or just idiots?

It took less than a hour for me to get a call offering me the job. I was pleased, hadn't even got home yet!

I have to disagree with you completely. I think it may just be your store which is poorly organised.

I had my interview, and then (iirc) a day later I had a email saying I was successful and a call later my induction date was sorted. Induction went smoothly and uniform and everything was on time (unlike what some have found).

Since I have been working at my local store, I have been able to have my contracted shift/hours changed 3 times without any problems (although the last one had a slight ooh! ahh! to it). And even my promotion went perfectly! No problems whatsoever!

In fact, if anything, my opinion has improved highly! And I would reccomend anyone to work at Sainsburys - as if their store is anything like mine, it will be a enjoyable (can you say that about work LOL) experience.

I didn't get much uniform for a while. I was given a second hand huge blue polo on my first day and one pair of trousers and that's all. The polo even had white paint or something stained on it, luckily it was a place I could put my badge over so I didn't look like I was dirty and didn't wash! So I had to wear that for a while until a new order came in and I got my own polos. It didn't bother me that much apart from being cold, but the other new starts hadn't any jumpers or anything either so it wasn't just me.

I definitely don't think every store is as poorly organised as yours seems. I don't have much of a problem with how things are run at the store I work in, I just find the job incredibly boring after a year and a half. That's my only real fault with it.
I did the interview and sent me an ee-mail saying I was successful. When I called the HR they said that im on hold because the person im supposed to fill in for aint leaving anymore. But they said they are searching for a store for me. Still waiting
