Osmosis Visking Tube Experiment

What limitations are there is this experiment and what modifications can be made? And why? It could be on how the experiment is done as well as the equipment.

dry the visking tubing before weighing and i suppose try to use the same size of tubing each time, this is quite hard when the tubing has to be knotted at two ends so maybe use some sort of sealant instead.
How do you dry the dialysis tubing? Does blotting remove less water than placing the tubing on a paper towel?

Does the room temperature affect the rate of osmosis? If the room is hot will the molecules move faster? will osmosis happen faster?
