Starting to feel more confident about Economics B finally. Still really scared about section C though.

I reckon I can pull off 20 in A and 7 in B, so that's 41 marks. Not sure how I'm meant to get 30 from section C though... at best I can see myself getting 2 in six questions, 3 in two questions and 1 in two questions, which is 19 marks. This is my BEST case scenario, i.e. if I work like crazy this next week.

Best way to deal with section C is to write something. Waffling makes it easy to pick marks and I'm saying that from someone who failed last year.

The most difficult part is section B :s-smilie:

You should be looking to do well in Section C.
Section B is much 'harder'
ugh fail @ LSE :nopity:

Yea I know what you mean, my actual academic condition is in such a dire state that I should be crying but finally doing work for the first time all year makes me feel all invigorated and energetic making socialising easier haha Made a couple new friends due to the exam stress aswell :p:
It's 2am and I gotta get up in 6hours for the 9am Eco lecture but I'm feeling all happy, just going for random smokes outside

Yeah, allow the 9 AM lectures, what is he on? I'm off to sleep, c ya.
Reply 48
seriously, when do you guys go to bed?

revising at 2,3 am?
Reply 49
I've had a really messed up sleeping pattern lately, sleeping well past 5 AM. Not really because of revision, just generally messed up.
My sleeping pattern is quite stable but not 'normal'. Generally go to bed around 4am and wake up around 930/10am... Should really get this fixed in time for next week or I'll be like a zombie...

**** Micro- not providing a single set of solutions for any past paper, quiz or written assignment makes revision so much harder.

Do you know how long Cowell and Nava have been teaching the course? I think this is the first year for Nava.

No point. I was just wondering what past papers to take a look at...

all of cowell's stuff up to 2001 inclusive is relevant for sure.

So I just started going through the homework exercises again today and all I can say is that some are completely retarded. I mean look at exercise 2.10 . Its like the calculus from hell. There is no way you can solve something like that in the exam if you haven't seen it before and know the tricks that cowell uses to simplify the calculation. And its not like those tricks have any logical reasoning behind them so you can guess em, its either you know them or not. If you dont you're basically screwed.

At least the good thing is that there's only so many production/utility functions you can get, within reason...
Damn, people are really freaking out, like that guy in the MA100 forum... And here I am getting drunk at the bar 2days before AC100, although it is a saturday

Have you guys had your ec201 exams? If you have I'm sorry for being late with this. But if not I'll see if i can dig out some answers from somewhere and maybe even some notes (they should be okay, I managed to get a 2:1)

On another note FM300 exam was probably the worst exam I've taken at LSE. Can't believer it was so bad, but at least that weight is off my mind, I can rest up before my June Exams.
