what experiments do we have to learn?
Please help me!
I would like to know whether anyone has been told anything that their teachers have predicted will be on the exam tomorrow?

I do dual award, and would like to know a rough guide as to the grade boundaries - out of 360? Is it 180 / 360 for BB?? Anyone know?

Thanks :smile:

Acceleration = change in velocity/time
Force = mass*acceleration

Weight = mass*gravitational field strength (10)

Power = current*voltage
Energy = power *time
Voltage = current*resistance
Charge = current*time

Speed = frequency*wavelength
Frequency = 1/time period

Refractive index = sin(angle of incidence) / sin(angle of refraction)
Sin(critical angle) = 1/refractive index

Efficiency = useful energy out/total energy in

Work = force*distance

Gravitational potential energy = mass*gravitational field*height

Kinetic energy = 0.5*mass*speed^2 (speed squared)

Power = work/time
Density = mass/volume
Pressure = force/area

Pressure difference = height *density*gravitational field

Does anyone know an example for like setting up an experiment to measure the speed of sound?

Like seeing a gun shot from 200 meters or something and then measuring the time sound took to travel to you.

Yes, obviously I know that ! I do dual award (but sit the three papers, so 3 x 120 marks per paper is 360!!)

So my total that I have to achieve is ???/360 to get BB ...
So I am asking, what do I have to get out of 360 to get BB? :smile:
Reply 213
Im guessing 216, if 60% is BB? Depends how grade boundaries are set..

i have a persistent problem in radioactivity.....can someone please help me with tips to revise all the main things in radioactivity in ten minutes.....
check out benaryders youtube channel - his radioactivity clip is over in 21.05 - covers everything - might be worth the extra 10 mins ? :smile:
Well I'm off to bed. Done as much revision as I can do and my hayfever is making me feel like **** now so I can't concentrate. Will do a bit in the morning.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow :smile:
