Hey all, congrats on your cardiff offers Does anyone know what the "health check" is all about? On the website it says:
"All applicants given offers will be required to undergo a Health Check, which is carried out independently by Cardiff University Health Centre, Park Place."
So does this mean we don't go to our GP's for vaccinations and stuff and just have to wait for them to get back to us?

At most dental schools, in the first week or so, they will take blood samples from all students and get them tested for any blood bourne viruses. You could go to your GP and get started on the HepB vaccinations as the course of 3 injections are spread over several months, and I'd advise you to start now ... but if you can't, worry not, as Cardiff will get you started when you start at their university.

Oh okay, I think it'd be easier for me to get started now with my GP, might as well get it over and done with
