That's not something that can be solved analytically with the standard functions (apart from one obvious solution α=0\alpha = 0)

If you need to solve it, you'd need to use numerical techniques.

Alternatively, if you're just interested in the answer, you can feed it to Wolfram Alpha (always useful as a check anyway) Wolfram
