Healthy waist size ?

Is a 36'' waist a good size for a 6 foot tall 17 year old male ?

I'm 17, male but shorter than you and I'm 30"/32" waist so I wouldn't worry
Thanks

It's better to work out your waist to hip ratio. As a man, you should ideally have one 0.85 or lower but anything under 1.0 is considered to be a healthy range. Here's a good calculator:

Not bad. I'm 6'3" at 34 inch waist.
5'10 with 36" waist and I'm clearly overweight so you might be borderline as you're taller than me.

There is no healthy waist size.
It's all about body composition.

Yep, that sounds good. I'm six foot as well and looked fine when my waist was that size. Although I have a fairly large frame.
6' 2" with 30" waist.
Obviously underweight.
You'll be borderline.

I'd say 32-36" is normal waist size for a 6ft male.
Thanks
You can use the NHS website to see which waist size is healthy for you. For example I'm a normal weight now but my waist is still too large apparently!
Thanks
